This customer has had this car for along time.  The paint and body work were done by family friends and the car looked very nice.  Best part is everything in the engine bay and driveline was stock factory 350 Pontiac.  Right down to the tag on the two barrel Rochester.  Since the car was getting close to 50 years old we needed top refresh the engine bay.  The customer's only request is that the car be ready for the Car Craft Nationals in July of 2015 here in Milwaukee.

Engine bay freshened up with a freshly rebuilt 350, rebuilt carb and new accessories.

All original Pontiac 350.  Original engine bay not too bad.

The engine is out and the engine bay has been detailed.  The last bit of paint on the top of the core support.  Every time we painted it the finish would fish eye from some contaminant in the base metal.  Metal really is very porous. …

The engine is out and the engine bay has been detailed.  The last bit of paint on the top of the core support.  Every time we painted it the finish would fish eye from some contaminant in the base metal.  Metal really is very porous.  It took multiple cleanings before we were able to get a decent finish on this very visible part.  In this photo you can see the engine bay is completely refinished.

Freshly rebuilt and ready to install.
